I mean it is pretty cool if it works, but for 2500 I wouldn’t go near it. You could buy a trail 90 and make one for a lot less than that.

Total crackpipe price... and I’d be real curious if that tiny motor could actually move those tracks.....

Damn that is cool, almost makes me wish I lived where there was snow. Almost

Move, yes. Move fast? No. Note the effective gear reduction. The rear sprocket is about 1/2 underdrive combined with wheels that are half diameter. So you end up about an extra 4:1 worth of rear gear.

You would be surprised, I have a Honda z50 which pretty much has the same engine (only smaller) and that little thing has some pull on it. I am probably 160-170 and it will haul me up and down pretty steep hills. I mean I am not going anywhere fast but it is still moving.

R1 swap and this thing would be ready to hoon.

I’ve gotten one of my Dad’s restored CT90s up to 60km/h ~37mph on gravel, It was terrifying.. it’s much more comfortable putting along on the trails..
I can’t see that thing being too useful - hopefully they kept the old parts.
